RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE
Documents required from the employer:
Demand Letter (Mandatory)
The employer will formally issue a demand letter in favor of Aliza Employment Agency in which should clearly be stated job categories, number of workers required category wise, monthly salary, name of currency, period of contact, working hours, over-time facilities and other amenities for workers at site such as food, accommodation, medical facilities, insurance and air passages ect. This demand letter must be duly endorse by the foreign ministry of the employment country and finally attested by the embassy of the peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh situated in the employment country. If there is no Bangladesh embassy, it must be submitted to the nearest one or which embassy is responsible for that particular country. (Please follow the example of following pages.)
Power of Attorney (Mandatory)
The employer will furnish Aliza Employment Agency with a power of attorney duly authorizing it to carry on the recruitment of Bangladesh manpower including meeting up all the necessary formalities as required to arrange for an interview and trade test, sign all necessary documents and employment contacts required by the laws of Bangladesh to arrange for passports for visa endorsement. It also must be attested by the foreign ministry of the employment country and embassy of Bangladesh.
Employment Agreement
To start with the employer and Aliza Employment Agency should execute an employment agreement between themselves stating fully and precisely the terms and conditions regarding demand letter and supply of manpower from Bangladesh. This agreement must be signed by both parties on acceptance of stated terms to execution of the recruitment procedure. This agreement must not be attested by foreign ministry and Bangladesh embassy. However, if employer wants, may be attested.
Employment contract
The employer will issue an employment contract showing salaries and other amenity which was mentioned in the demand letter and also not in the demand letter but the employer wants to include. This contract must be signed by the demand letter signing person on one side leaving the other side blank to be signed by the selected worker. Original contract will be with Aliza Employment Agency and each worker will sign it’s copy where Aliza Employment Agency will sign as witness.
Social security for female workers
The employer will issue a social security letter for female workers only, assuring social security in the working place as well as in the residence/hostel.
Procedure
After receiving embassy attested demand letter and power of attorney we submit it along with Aliza Employment Agency’s confirmation affidavit and other necessary documents to the Ministry of Expatriates’ welfare and Overseas employment for recruitment permission. Please note that strict manpower regulation of government of Bangladesh requires that recruitment and advertisement permission should first be obtained from the ministry before commencing the selection and testing of candidates. Therefore, it would be appreciated if the above documents would be in our hand minimum 7 days before the arrival of selection team. Note: If the employer doesn’t want to come for selection, we may select on behalf of them and in that case, we will guarantee them of the workers skillfulness and medical fitness. If the employer found any worker unfit after arrival at work site, we will replace the same and repatriate by our own cost.
Medical Examination:
Upon confirmation of selection by the employer or their representative complete medical examination is carried out at the medical clinic or hospital nominated and approved only by the respective embassy. The embassy issues visa only on production of medical fitness certificates.
We send medically fitness workers passport copies and other documents which vary from country to country to the employer and wait for visa.
Visa Stamping
For each visa stamping on the candidate’s passport require to submit original passport, original medical report, original police report, original visa advice and other documents required by the embassy.
Final Immigration clearance from B.M.E.T.
As soon as visa stamped passport are received from the embassy, we submit it to the B.M.E.T.(Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training)office along with all necessary documents.
Briefing by B.M.E.T
Upon submission and confirmation of all documents for clearance B.M.E.T asks to produce all candidates for a orientation program in the B.M.E.T. briefing hall where all selected workers must be physically present. There Govt. official will inform them about all terms and condition of the job again, and instruct them about the behaviors and manners in the host country. After this we can get final clearance from B.M.E.T
Ticketing
On confirmation from the employer tentative dispatch date we will arrange one way ticketing for a direct journey
Dispatch of workers
Meantime we ensure arrival of all workers in Dhaka two days before flight date and complete all remaining documentation of their personal files. Our staff takes them to the airport and helps them for boarding and immigration clearance
Pre cautionary measure
Our experience shows some workers, with the intention to draw employers sympathy or consideration at times tend to wrongly reproduce the actual salary rates, terms and conditions on arrival at jobsites. Some claim that they could not understand the contents of employment contract written in English. To avoid these problems, we have adopted pre cautionary measures such as:
- Individual affidavits in Bengali language are signed by the workers to affect that they were fully explained and understood the actual salary and important terms and condition of employment
- Translation of employment contract in Bengali language and signed by the workers
3. We provide them the overseas job application form both in Bengali and English with which they can confirm the post applied for his represent.
